Valerie started working at the front desk of a TPA after graduating with a degree in Economics from San Francisco State University in 2006. From answering phones and sorting mail, she quickly moved her way through to loans and distributions, trust accounting and administrative support. In a little over a year, she became a plan administrator.

Valerie lives in San Clemente with her husband Mark, son Samuel and dog, Sookie. They spend most of their free time at the beach, traveling, golfing and attending live music events.
